Estimates from published list prices as of October 2026 and the per-page rate reported for enterprise quotes. Enterprise vendors negotiate; storage caps, user packs and support tiers change the real invoice. Treat the per-page row as an order of magnitude, not a quote.
Flat plans charge for time, so a long process on a small room is their worst case and a short, document-heavy process their best. Per-page quotes charge for volume, so a 50-document seed round is cheap and a 20,000-document carve-out is not. Per-user plans sit in between and punish large internal teams.
The worked examples in how data room pricing works and per-page vs flat pricing show where each model breaks. Every published plan is listed on the pricing index.
On a flat subscription a six-month process costs about $600 at Papermark ($99/month) or $1,500 at SecureDocs ($250/month). On a per-page enterprise quote the same room with 10,000 pages runs about $6,000 at the commonly reported $0.60 per page, before user and support fees.
The pricing model. Per-page quotes scale with document volume, per-user plans scale with the number of admins, and flat subscriptions scale only with time. For a document-heavy process, per-page pricing is the variable that gets out of hand.
Not on flat plans such as Papermark and SecureDocs, where visitors are unlimited. Per-user plans such as ShareFile charge for licensed users on your side; bidders are usually guests. Enterprise quotes sometimes bundle user packs.
No. Datasite, Intralinks and similar vendors do not publish prices. About $0.60 per page is the rate most often reported in market summaries and buyer accounts; actual quotes depend on volume, duration and support.
Among published prices, Papermark's Data Rooms plan at $99/month with unlimited rooms and visitors is the lowest for a full data room. DocSend's $10/user/month Personal tier is cheaper but only covers document links; its data rooms sit on higher tiers.
